Day 3 on the "Wild Diet"
Evening all,
I'm starting this blog so that I can keep a record of my meals and thoughts whilst on the Wild Diet.
The Wild Diet is a diet published by Abel James "The fat burning man".
I've listened to his Podcasts for quite a while and whilst very interested I never really put it into action. I recently watched "my diet is better than yours" on ABC or YouTube and found his progress with Kurt to be very inspiring.
So I've started my "Wild" diet. I'm now on day 3. I think to appreciate where I'm coming from you need to know where I start.
I'm a 35 year old guy in Milton Keynes. I have two kids and an office job. I do very little exercise. My diet is terrible. I survive on pre-packaged sandwiches and bottles of Coke and Pepsi. I buy whatever I want on the way home which is usually pizza or something I can just chuck in the oven. However I also normally buy another sandwich, crisps, chocolate etc to keep me going on the way home.
Pathetic I know....
I weighed myself on the 9th Feb......
24st 7lbs or 155.9kg
BMI 42.3
Body Fat 41.4%
Body Fat Mass 64.5kg
I am ashamed I've let it get this bad.
I actually started my diet on the 8th. I've quit Coke and pre-made foods. My only cheats are fruit juices, Kettle chips and Nakd bars.
I know that these three items all have their own reasons for being against the Wild Diet. But it's a step by step process.
I've bought a slow cooker to help me prepare foods for when I get home. This will hopefully make me focus throughout the day on the nice meal I come home to.
I am going to weigh myself every weekend and I hope to see the Body Fat % go down each week.
I am also going to write in this blog everyday to write down how I feel and what I have found hard or achieved.
